Actors: Furlong Edward,Sipos Shaun,Levinson Sam,Mennekes Steffen,Switch Jamie,Teigen Michael,Alexander Reese,Boileau Daniel,Drama,

"Depression."…A Rap. Your thoughts?
Chorus:
This is DEPRESSION!
I don’t see the sun ’cause all I see is rain!
This is DEPRESSION!
All I see is darkness, I’m obviously just sayin’…
This is DEPRESSION!
I’m honestly just stuck with all this ceaseless pain
The skies are always bleak and grey!
But I don’t want to be this way!

Verse 1:
When I go walkin’ down the blocks some all of a sudden wanna judge
Looks like a dumb obnoxious bum! Looks like a thug who’s hooked on drugs!
Looks like a loveless troubled thug who’s just havin’ trouble gettin’ loved
He’s got a strut just like a thug who all of a sudden thinks he’s tough
He’s walkin’ and flossin’ bling he’s got! Now what is this thug just thinkin’ of?
Now what does the public think of all this bling and hobbled gangster walk?
He’s probably about to hit the wall? Some people might gawk and think he’s drunk!
Now within his pockets does he have a gun with slugs or spliff or blunt?
But I’m not a thug—I kid you not! And I don’t do drugs—I kid you not!
So all of you dumb dumbs stop the talkin’ stop the judgin’—friggin’ stop!
And I don’t pop bottles in the club or frolic with drunkards in a pub
I live in this culture called hip hop, when spittin’ some bars—this kid has heart!
But livin’ is hard not gettin loved, and livin’ is hard just gettin’ judged
I’m livin’ despondent in this dark and lookin’ for another place to run
I’m livin’ impoverished—this is rough! I’m findin’ it tough to get a job!
To the people who judge—middle finger is up! ‘Cause I just don’t wanna give a f**k!

(CHORUS x2)

Verse 2:
When I was a little lad I truly had to endure my dad’s abuse
And I’m-a assure you what’s the truth is I was severely battered, bruised
But now I don’t get that bad abuse, still Dad has a dirty attitude…
In damn disputes sayin’ that I’m useless which leads to just really bad disputes!
When I was a little lad—it’s true—I’ve also been bullied bad in school!
From scars and bruises to havin’ a group of ruthless rude kids snatch my juice
Now what does this really add up to when I would pursue to attack the group?
Detention in school, a scab or a bruise, the matter of truth is I get screwed
Now that I’ve matured and not in school, my life just has truly not improved
Still battlin’ through f**kin’ mass confusion, these times are just filled with nasty moods
No job—not in school—I’m rather doomed! Damn what should I do? Don’t have a clue!
I could have selected to walk the route of hustlin’ crack and chuggin’ booze
The fact’s I am truly not a fool! And hustlin’ drugs is just uncool!
Now take a true journey in my shoes before you attack this troubled youth
I’m gettin’ a ton of mad abuse trapped under this ROOF—yo that’s the truth!
And I’m just doomed as I grasp this truth: "I’m trapped in this GLOOM with no cash to move!"

(CHORUS x2)

Verse 3:
Now within my toxic broken home there’s tons of negative emotion
The dramatics get exposed when ample tension’s left unspoken
With Mom and Dad at each other’s throats, some small accessories get broken
Tense commotion, sad emotions, the molten lava’s just explodin’
You know my dad just gets annoyin’ ’cause he’s always damn controllin’
In the afternoon or mornin’—it’s like that—this matter’s sordid!
He just has the yakkin’ goin’ even at the bathroom toilet
My dad is bored and unemployed, I hear the anger that he’s voicin’
It doesn’t matter at this point if he is mad or unemployed
‘Cause I am mad and unemployed but I don’t have the yakkin’ goin’
Yo I am definitely not a stoic boy, I’m sendin’ out this warnin’:
"Still I attack when I’m provoked, so folks don’t get this fact distorted!"
With tempers boilin’ at this home there’s always chatter of divorcin’
I’d hoped to exit from this home, but costs of rents I can’t afford them
I’m unemployed and I’m annoyed at all the trash that I’m absorbin’
I cannot stand my father’s BULLSH*T, at any moment I’m EXPLODIN’!
This massive load that’s on my shoulder’s a heavy boulder that I’m holdin’
If any folks are talkin’ BULL, without a warnin’ I’m-a throw it
This temper still—I can’t control! So I can blow up like explosives!
Just like a hornet that gets cornered I will attack—yo I’m not jokin’!
My body still is not that built, so I get pushed and I get bullied
My body dysmorphic disorder has got me sportin’ gangster clothin’
Depression’s got me on the ropes with lack of hope and endless torture
At times I’d hoped this life was over—but that’s BULL! So I’m just copin’!

(CHORUS x2)

~W.K.

yo this was so goooood : ) eheheeee why did it end~~~ : P
You might have an hang nail going on. There isn’t much to be done when this happens except putting ice on it. Sometimes the hang nail will appear and you can cut it which will bring down the swelling.

I need the name of a song, but I only know the music video!?
sorry I don’t have any lyrics or anything ):
I remember hearing it on the radio, and saw on MTV back in either 2002 or 2003. 2001 even maybe.
It was rock, and the vocalist had lots of piercings.. a lip ring.. and I think an eyebrow piercing..
he wore make-up too.. I think dark lipstick?
In the video he was like standing at this place, a pier or something, and at the end he throws a ring into the water, and there’s another character somewhere at a phone booth, and then he (or she) runs away.

MY GOD it’s been BUGGING ME for the past SIX YEARS and I am distressed now.

Oasis
The Power of the Atom
Tenpenny Tower
Strictly Business
You Gotta Shoot ‘Em in the Head
Stealing Independence
Trouble on the Homefront
Agatha’s Song
Reilly’s Rangers

This is too overwhelming I need some kind of order.
If I didnt do any quests up to "The Waters of Life" are any of the side quests blocked by now?

 *SPOILERS!!*

Some quests will be locked or unlocked based on progress in the main quest and your disposition, as well as acts in the intro. If you killed the overseer at the beginning, you can’t do the "Trouble on the Homefront" quest, which in turn is not available until after The Waters of Life.

This is how I would do it: Get out of the vault, tackle the Megaton quest and get as far as Galaxy News Radio. After fixing the Galaxy News Radio relay, branch off and explore, doing side quests at your own pace, level up, then return to the main quest line if you see fit. Note that if you do NOT have Broken Steel, skip "Finding the Garden of Eden" until you are done doing the other quests because after Finding the Garden of Eden, some quests lock up and if you finish the last two story quests then you cannot continue your game. If you have Broken Steel, this won’t matter, but you can’t keep playing after "Take it Back!"

The side quests can be done in any order you wish, and remember some have a good or bad route, which once again affects whether or not you can play certain other side quests. Blowing up Megaton while certain megaton quests are active as well as future megaton quests might block them out (That won’t cancel out Wasteland Survival guide as Moira will conveniently become a ghoul and move, and it won’t cancel out Blood Ties even though you can’t return to the quest giver) and vice verse. It’s all at your leisure and exploring the wasteland is the best thing to do to find the quests. They do not need to be done in any order, up until "Finding the Garden of Eden," the game will let you do any of the quests in any order you like, the only linearity being story missions.

I usually did the Escape! one with the ants near the start. This game is funny because unlike Oblivion, I really ran out of quests in FO3. In Oblivion I had so many I wouldn’t do them all. I do the ones for the lady in Megaton early to finish the book. Other than that…I did the main quest. Good game but could have used a hover craft or something after about 100 hours….

How do I head off this disaster?
I took a new guy shooting. I am a teacher. Right now California is $20 Billion in debt, and half the California budget is Education. So they are firing teachers left and right. In Los Angeles, school rooms are linked and you have a "room partner." My new room partner is a very young guy (I am in my 30’s, he is 25) who is a long term sub. He never had a Dad, he was raised by a Mom only, and she hated guns. He always wanted a gun, but the closest he ever came was violent video games.

I am just the opposite. My Dad had me when he was a very, very old man. The joke was his seed was "worn out," by the time he had me, and that’s why I am gay and very small, when my Dad was huge. He had me so late in life, my brother could be my father. My Dad was VERY old school, and would hit you HARD if you didn’t obey him INSTANTLY. I was brought up to not mess around with guns. First a .22 rifle for many years, then occasionally a .22 pistol, and then a .410 shotgun. I didn’t fire centerfire rifles or pistols until I was much, much older. My Dad wouldn’t let me TOUCH his precious .45 until I was 16.

Well, I may have goofed up. I let this guy shoot my .22 Pump action rifle, and my .22 Colt Woodman Target model. But then I had to show off and let him shoot my big guns. To my shock, he has remarkable hand to eye coordination (something I have never had) and had a natural ability with a shotguns. I had a plastic clay pidgeon thrower. I lashed it to a old broom handle with duct tape and was throwing the clay pidgeon far in the air. Boom. He hit them. First time with a shotgun. And it wasn’t a 12 guage throwing a pound of lead. He was hitting them with my Dad’s Fox BSE double barrel 20 guage. I would throw ten and then we would rest. He could hit 6 or 7 out of ten, and this was the first time he ever touched a gun.

He loved my .30-30. We shot stacks of wet newspaper wrapped with duct tape, and a few 20 pound blocks of clay (I cleaned up EVERY SCRAP of trash).

But what he REALLY loved was my gun I bought cheap off a guy who lost his job. For almost nothing, I bought this Spanish Star Super B (It’s hard to tell WHAT this gun is—it has conflicting stamping on it, the original Spanish Stamping says one thing, the Importer, Century Arms says another) in .38 Super. This kid LOVES recoil. He REALLY got off on firing the .38 Super rapid fire (me 20 yards behind crouched behind the car to avoid sudden death).

He wants to buy a .38 Super now. Well, I didn’t want to tell him that .38 Super is an oddball gun that I only bought because I am cheap. He probably REALLY wants a .45. Secondly, I think his first gun should be a Ruger 10/22 rifle, or at the most a Ruger Mk III .22 pistol with the longest barrel they make. But he is really set in his mind and wants his first gun to be a big old .38 Super.

I think the only thing that will stop him, is that as a substitute teacher, he is making almost no money (all the fired teachers are substituting, and they aren’t working that many days a week. Before this long term job, this guy hadn’t had much work.). In fact, on the ride back, we even discussed his moving into my house, as means of him saving money, and me getting money (I am cheap.) But I am concerned about him buying such a high powered gun with so little experience, and I am wondering how to discourage him.

I suggest you help him pick out something decent but not too pricey. Don’t discourage him from large calibers or shotguns, but do review all the safety tips every time you go out. If he is being safe and responsible he should be fine.

My kids are at pellet guns and 22 for the most part. The reason for keeping it low caliber, imo, is that they are kids and kids/teens do dumb trhings sometimes. A teacher should at least be mature enough not to go "look at my gun" and point it at their friends face.

Sorry, that’s way too long to bother reading.
* La Bong * | Mar 07, 2010

DON’T discourage him! Since he went with you and has learned some basics, continue to mentor him in the proper use of a firearm. Shooting sports are not only very fun, but a safe way to bring people together that enjoy the same activities. I would encourage him to practice more with you, and explain why the gun he thinks he wants, may not actually be the gun he really wants. If he can legally own a gun, and knows how to handle it, he would be a welcome addition to the scores of gun-loving, law-abiding citizens in this country! Join the NRA if you’re not a member. They’re the only reason you can even get a gun in California.
P O | Mar 07, 2010

 first off remember K.I.S.S

Keep, It, Simple, Stupid

but anywho yes DONT turn him away from a gun!! any gun he buys will inturn help California’s debt problem. he buys a gun and all the equipment and then starts buying hunting licenses and bam hes doing a smal bit to thelp the economy. besides you cant control what he wants.

but i guess if hes wanting to get a .50 cal or .338 laupa i would warn him of the expense
wana bigger bike | Mar 07, 2010

You should give him all the facts about the pistol and about 38 Super, and you can explain the advantages of something chambered in 22 LR. But if he wants the darned thing, and goes in with his eyes open, then sell it to him.
John de Witt | Mar 07, 2010

wow, if this is a serious question(unlikely from you), you shouldn’t stop someone from doing anything they want to do, unless it’s illegal, in which this isn’t, just let him do as he pleases and stop spamming this section of YA!.
man, when will you stop with the ranting and spamming?
stormgale89 | Mar 07, 2010

let him move in with you and u can let him use ur gun if he buys shells
mark d | Mar 07, 2010

Why should anyone answer you? You have posted 3 or 4 ’stories’ about this adventure of yours. Everyone told you NOT to bring anything larger than the .22s. If you hadn’t then you wouldn’t have this problem, and he would probably just want to buy a .22.
But since he did, who cares if he wants to get a .38, it’s not your problem.

What could the reports of large black cats in suburban NYC be?
If they AREN’T miss-identification, what could they be?

There was a huge sighting jump sometime summer last year, people saw them almost everyday.

My theory’s are:

either a black cougar, though two have been sighted at the same time at one point.
or Someones pets let loose.
Umm its not real recent, but no more then a year and a half old, so sorta recent.

Was this recent? I live in NYC and I haven’t heard of this…Granted I don’t watch the news often.
